Castlemaine Accommodation -Maggies Cottage

Maggies   Castlemaine   Accommodation is a romantic self contained cottage, with a large bath and open fire, just outside Castlemaine/Walmer  Victoria  Australia.

The bedroom is upstairs. The views at night from the window feature the Southern Cross and cottage garden. The en-suite has a separate shower and large luxurious bath for those long soaks, complete with views amongst the tree tops, candles and a great sound system.

Downstairs, the living area is open plan. The kitchen features full cooking facilities, stove, micro-wave oven , fridge, timber benches with a beautiful wooden table and chairs, all this framed by a delightful cottage dresser.

The living area has two two-seater couches, television, DVD and CD player, and a collection of books, DVD's and games to muse the days away. A feature of this area is the stone open fire , a terra-cotta floor, rugs and interesting leadlight windows and fittings to add to the charm.

Castlemaine is renowned for its reputation for having the largest arts community in Vic. Stroll through the botanical gardens, designed and planted before the Melbourne Botanical gardens. Visit the prestigious portrait collection at the Art Gallery .

Maggies Cottage is a magical place for a couple to come to, light the open fire, and be at peace with each other. All this is yours to enjoy at your leisure in this very private cottage , where the atmosphere is warm, intimate and friendly.
