The bedroom is upstairs. The views at night from the large window featuring the Southern Cross and cottage garden. The en-suite has a separate shower and large luxurious bath for those long soaks, complete with views amongst the tree tops, candles and a great sound system.

Downstairs, the living area is open plan. The kitchen features full cooking facilities, stove, micro-wave oven , fridge, timber benches with a beautiful wooden table and chairs, all this framed by a delightful cottage dresser.

The living area has two two-seater couches, television, DVD and CD player, and a collection of books, DVD's and games to muse the days away. A feature of this area is the stone open fire , a terra-cotta floor, rugs and interesting leadlight windows and fittings to add to the charm.

Castlemaine is renowned for its reputation for having the largest arts community in Vic. Stroll through the botanical gardens, designed and planted before the Melbourne Botanical gardens. Visit the prestigious portrait collection at the Art Gallery .
